Dear Everyone,
I just want to testify that I know that this time is the
time for men to prepare to meet God. We literally every single day are
preparing to do so. As we do this with Faith, Obedience, Diligence and Joy, we
can gain the best experiences in our life that we will be able to take with us
into the next life with our Father in Heaven in the eternities to come.
I know He places every single thing in our paths that we
face everyday to help us to prepare for that future day with Him. WHAT A GREAT BLESSING THAT
IS! HOW MUCH HE LOVES US SO!! I just see witnesses of it every single day as I
serve. He really does love us. Everyday we get the opportunity to see it.
Through small simple tender mercies, we begin to understand his perspective of
us and how much we matter. I seriously love the Verse in Doctrine and Covenants
18:10: "The worth of Souls is great in the sight of God."
On Monday we literally had a miracle. We had
finished emailing our pday letters and decided to head to our next lesson right then. When out
of the blue, an awesome member came up behind us and tackled us and
asked simply, "Where are you going?" and we told her, "Going to
our investigator's place. Where are you going?" She looked at us
for a moment while walking and said, "With you." The members here are
just amazing.
As the lesson panned out, the member woman was AMAZING. I knew that she was meant to be in the lesson with us. As we
taught the investigator, the investigator began to express that right now she felt no hope in the world for all that she has been facing with
medical issues. As we testified, the member who had come with us gave the
biggest testimony that was super personal and completely perfect for the sweet woman who was struggling. (I have gained a huge witness that testimonies unit people together. No
matter what they faced in their lives up til that moment, a person's testimony
can reach out to people and touch their hearts like nothing else can. It is
because it is through the Holy Ghost we can connect with people.)
A testimony is the most precious gift a person can have after they
have entered into the waters of Baptism. Because if we have His spirit to be
with us, all else falls into place.
This week we had Zone Training in another city. It was super
good. One of the biggest things I had learned was from our Zone Leaders saying,
"When we get a commitment from the mission president, we shouldn't say,'Why is President giving us
this?' but say, 'What can I do to accomplish this commitment?"
The thing I learned from this was that every single thing we
receive from our leaders - not just here in the field, but also back home - are
all from our Father in Heaven to help us. To help us be prepared to Meet
Him again one day.
This week another investigator chose her date
for Baptism. We had her pray about what date she felt to be baptized. On our
return this week we asked what answer she had felt through the Spirit? She said
for the 27th. We talked with her about that would be the day that she would
receive the Holy Ghost and so Friday we could the Baptismal Service. She felt
good about that and is so excited for her special day.
I know that the Lord blessed us and others so much this week all over
world. Especially this week for us in finding two additional sweet investigators, two lovely daughters of God. One has excepted the invitation to follow Jesus
Christ as well and be baptized into His church as well.
I know that Everything Happens for a Reason. I know that the
Lord has seriously blessed my life personally and as well as a companionship
this week. I am so grateful for my dear new companion Sister J. She is
seriously such an example to me everyday as we serve together and testify of
our Brother, Our Savior, and Redeemer.
Love you all, Motra Bezas
